The Events Planning Team is a sub-committee of the Reading Room Charity. It consists of a number of volunteers who work together to organise and deliver the calendar of fundraising events that takes place at the Reading Room throughout the year.

The work that they do is vital to the longevity of the Charity as the funds raised help the Trustees to meet their maintenance goals and improve the facilities for the benefit of its users and the local community.

The team usually meets every month (except in August) and delivers small and larger scale events. Typcial events include the Village Fete, Beer Festival, Bingo Nights, Easter Trail and Live Music Events.
