We provide members of the public with a flexible, affordable venue, which you can customise to suit your individual needs.

Whether you are planning a birthday party, family gathering or a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, the Reading Room has the facilities to make your event unforgettable.

The Main Hall can accommodate 80 people seated or 100 standing and features a stage, PA system with hearing loop and specialist lighting. The stage is useful if your event includes a live band or other performance. Go ahead and make us much noise as you want: we have very few neighbours!

In common with many older buildings, the Main Hall has quite a high ceiling that gives a feeling of space and also offers the opportunity for elaborate decoration!

The Billiard Room can accommodate up to 20 people and is thus suitable for smaller gatherings such as lunch meetings or intimate dinner functions. For larger events, it is often booked together with the Main Hall and used as a break out space or dressing area.

PartyEach room has adjoining kitchen facilities, enabling you to cook or prepare meals onsite. Together there is enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for 110 people. Both kitchens have a 3 minute dishwasher and a fridge freezer, as well as pots and pans, water boilers and table cloths. A full alcohol licence is available for a small extra fee, making this venue highly desirable for fundraising functions too, should you wish to run your own bar.

Curdridge benefits from excellent transport links, including the nearby Botley Railway Station and the M27 and M3 motorways. Our large car park is free and has more than enough capacity for day to day activities. However, for really large events, the Skinner Field provides extra space for cars, trucks and equipment, at no extra cost.
